Attorney Karen S. Socher delivers legal
services in the areas of estate planning, trusts, wills, and probate.
Karen understands the importance of staying informed of changes in the
laws to ensure a solid, tailored estate plan. Karen offers strong
problem solving skills in addressing asset management issues.
Karen graduated in 1991 with a Bachelor of
Arts degree in political science from the University of California at
Los Angeles and in 2002 received her law degree from McGeorge School of
Law. During her last year of law school, Karen served as a judicial
extern for the late Honorable Justice Earl Johnson, California Court of
Appeals, Second District. After passing the California State Bar in
2003, Karen had her first child and took time out of her career to raise
a family.
Karen began her legal career in 1991 as a
legal secretary with Los Angeles' premier law firms and designated Super
Lawyers in the areas of family law, civil litigation, estate planning,
probate and trusts, criminal law, and appellate law.
Karen is admitted to practice law in the
State of California, United States District Court, Central District of
California. She is a member of the Ventura County Bar Association and
State Bar of California.
Karen's community involvement includes
serving as a Board Member for Children's World; volunteer at Pierpont
Elementary and member of Pierpont Parent Teachers Organization;
volunteer with Global Children's Organization. |
